In a game-changing move for immigration and employers across Ontario, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has announced the launch of a brand-new digital Employer Portal set to go live on July 2, 2025. Instead, Ontario is introducing a secure, online Employer Portal—designed to simplify, modernize, and empower businesses to take the lead in nominating foreign talent through OINP’s Employer Job Offer streams.
Key Features of the New OINP Employer Portal
Based on stakeholder feedback, the Employer Portal offers several critical improvements:

Required Action: Re-Register EOIs
To implement this change, the OINP will temporarily pause and reset several system functions:
- June 20 to July 2, 2025: New EOIs for Employer Job Offer streams cannot be submitted.
- June 21–22, 2025: All existing EOIs under Employer Job Offer streams will be automatically withdrawn.
- June 27 to June 29, 2025: The OINP system will be completely offline; applicants will not be able to access applications, submit new ones, or register EOIs.
- July 2, 2025: The new Employer Portal launches. Employers can begin submitting job offer details, enabling applicants to re-register their EOIs.
Once the portal is live, employers will have to re-enter job information in the system to trigger an applicant’s re-registration. New EOIs submitted through this system will remain valid for 12 months.
