Vancouver, October 8, 2024 — The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has released its latest round of Invitations to Apply (ITAs), targeting several key industries across the province. In this draw, over 170 invitations were issued to candidates in sectors critical to BC’s economic growth, including childcare, construction, healthcare, tech, and veterinary care.

Candidates in the Tech sector saw the highest demand, with 83 invitations issued and a minimum score of 116. The Childcare stream followed, issuing 44 invitations to Skilled Workers and International Graduates, including those under the Express Entry BC (EEBC) option, with a minimum score of 83.

Other notable sectors included:

  • Construction: 25 invitations with a minimum score of 89.
  • Healthcare: 21 invitations with a higher minimum score of 99.
  • Veterinary Care: Less than five invitations, with a minimum score of 80.

This targeted draw continues to address BC’s pressing needs in critical industries. Candidates who received an ITA can now apply for permanent residency through the BC PNP. Individuals are encouraged to log into their BCPNP Online profile to check their invitation status.

The BC PNP remains an essential pathway for skilled workers looking to contribute to the province’s labor force, with the latest draw focusing on occupations experiencing labor shortages.
